The Intercollegiate team consists of around 35 skaters who represent Miami University at three regional competitions each season. The team competes in hopes of qualifying for the U.S. Figure Skating National Intercollegiate Final. Skaters can participate in a variety of events, including short program, freeskate, pattern dance, free dance, and team maneuvers. All U.S. Figure Skating test levels—from Preliminary through Senior—are eligible to compete, allowing skaters of all backgrounds and disciplines to contribute to the team. The Intercollegiate team is a great way for athletes to stay involved in competitive skating while being part of a supportive collegiate environment.
