Open Collegiate
The Open Collegiate Synchronized Skating Team consists of 20 skaters who represent Miami University at three or four regional competitions each season. The team is supported by the head coach, Maria Kruger, and the assistant coach, Caroline Yaeger. Membership of the Synchronized Skating team is contingent on tryouts at the beginning of the school year. The season consists of multiple weekly practices and team workouts, with competitions spanning from November to February. Additionally, they are the reigning Midwestern Sectional Champions of the past 3 seasons. The Open Collegiate team is a great way for synchronized skaters to stay involved with the sport they love in college!
